Important Notes:
- Plan Changes: A plan change fee will apply to those who wish to migrate between NT Plans 1 and 2. There will be no plan change fee for resellers who are migrating between a UNIX webhosting account and an NT plan. Please be aware that due to migration issues, moving from a UNIX plan to an NT plan (or NT plan to UNIX plan) will result in up 7 working days of site downtime. Resellers migrating customer sites between UNIX and NT will have to copy the entire website to a client machine and republish to the new account.
- SSL Secure Server: Shared Certificates (Verisign, Thawte etc.) are not supported Windows NT. Customers must have their own dedicated certificate for secure transactions or secure http sessions. A dedicated certificate cannot be moved from a UNIX hosting account to an NT account with out re-registering with Verisign or Thawte.
- Permissions: Permissions can not be set individually on Microsoft FrontPage child webs. Password protected directories/pages are not currently possible on this platform. Users needing this functionality should order one of our UNIX hosting plans.
- SMTP: SMTP is not supported by Windows NT.
- FrontPage 2000: Currently we are only offering FP 98 extensions on the NT plans. The FP 2000 extensions will be available shortly, but in the meantime, migrating a UNIX based FrontPage website using FP 2000 extensions will not work.
